Today I did what many investors are unable to do – leave Russia with a profit.

A change today in the momentum portion of my portfolio:

Sold the Russian ETF, RSX, today at 34.30, a 9.24% gain after holding 3 months
 
Buy the US Small Cap Value Index, symbol IWN, at $68.34
 
Many analysts describe the market as overextended and due for a pullback.  Don’t know if we’ll get out of IWN with a gain.

The momentum system is up 45% in the 9 months I’ve been following it.  5 of 6 trades profitable.  Beaten the S&P 500.  Good stuff.
